Since 1996, Ms. Rodriguez has worked closely with her husband, Carlos, to build and grow the Cardel Hospitality Group and its related companies. Prior to the merger with Driftwood, she was responsible for managing treasury, human resources, investor relations and risk management functions for the company’s portfolio of lodging properties. Ms. Rodriguez also handled construction draws and pre-opening operations for Cardel. She was actively involved in accounting operations and vital in transitioning the Costa Rica accounting office to work smoothly as an effective part of Driftwood Hospitality. Ms. Rodriguez holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, as well as a BA in Journalism and English from New York University. She has been an editor at Latin Finance magazine in Miami and a management consultant at TPF&C in New York. Currently, she is Asset Manager for a portfolio of hotel investments and an active board member of RodBlu Investments. |
